Education & Schools

The county is served by two public school systems: Williamson County Schools and Franklin Special School District The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools accredits all schools in both systems.

In addition, Franklin and Williamson County are home to a number of private schools, and Middle Tennessee offers numerous accredited two-year, four-year and post-graduate institutions. Columbia State Community College, Belmont University at Cool Springs, O’More College of Design, University of Phoenix – Nashville Campus located in Franklin
